Terms, Conditions, and the Privacy Policy

The following policies identify the relationship between DegreeSign, previously referred to as MARND, herein referred to as “us/we/our/ours”, and our website user, client, and/or other relevant parties, herein referred to by name or collectively as “you/your/yours/yourself”. DegreeSign operates as a division of MARND LTD of Scotland under the United Kingdom laws.

These policies are continuously updated and refined to govern the relationship between you and us. If you are using any of our services, you agree to these policies. If you do not agree to any of these policies, you have the option to stop using our services at any time.

We may revise and update these Terms of Use from time to time at our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them and apply to all access to and use of our websites, products, and services, thereafter.

We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the Service or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date, applied in the Service or on any related website, should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or updated.

Cookies Policy

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixel tags). A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to a browser from a web server and gets saved on the hard drive of the computer that you are using (in the browser folders). Learn more about cookies here.


We use Hotjar and Google Analytics to optimise and improve the user experience (UX) over time. Their privacy policies can be found here: Hotjar privacy policy, Google privacy policy.


We use Cloudflare, a content distribution service, to maintain website speed and protect the website against security threats. In the process of serving this website content, Cloudflare collects some information. You can visit the Cloudflare privacy policy page for more information. We also use other services such as tawk.to for the chat service and you can visit their privacy policy page for more information about how they process data.

Refund Policy

Unless specified otherwise, we will issue refunds, if requested, within 14 days from the date the corresponding payment was received. The refund request must be made by the same contact person who made the payment, accompanied by proof of payment. The refunded amount will have all expenses deducted, that is expenses in direct relation to the product or service for which the client is requesting the refund.

Liability Policy

We are not liable for any losses or cost inquired or required to be paid to any party government or private as a result of the use or production of research, work, and/or designs, digital or physical provided to you. In no event shall we be liable for any lost data or content, lost profits, business interruption or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the materials or the services provided by us, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, and notwithstanding the failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy.

The warranty on products based on deliverables is to be provided based on the agreement between you and other parties, such as products or parts manufacturers or suppliers. It is agreed we are not required and do not have the capacity to provide any warranty on the deliverables related to our research and/or design projects, and training required for using products or solutions based on any related deliverables is not our responsibility.

Tangible/non-tangible or physical/digital materials/solutions or products created for you or under a project you are a part of, all these materials/solutions and products are our property, even if copies of such materials/solutions or products have been delivered to you in any capacity and regardless of the presence of a work agreement, unless otherwise specified in a written agreement. We may destroy undelivered or unclaimed materials/solutions or products physical/digital at our discretion at any time, and we are not required to provide any copies of such materials/solutions or products at any time.

Technical comments and feedback on legal matters, such as but not limited to intellectual property rights and patents, are provided from an engineering perspective, and do not create an attorney-client relationship between you and us. If you need legal advice for your specific problem, you should consult a licensed attorney in the relevant jurisdiction.

You maintain full responsibility legal and ethical in producing and/or using any product or service we provide. You have the responsibility of conducting prior art search to ensure the work is not infringing on published patents before the work is manufactured into a usable solution/product.

Trademarks Policy

A trademark is a word, phrase, symbol, or design that distinguishes the source of goods or services. Also, as trade dress, it can be the appearance of a product or its packaging, including size, shape, colour, texture, graphics, and appearance (e.g. retail store or website).

All DegreeSign and MARND logos and wordmarks are trademarks of MARND LTD. Other listed trademarks, names, wordmarks, or logos of ours, our clients, or other companies are properties of these individuals or legal entities. The absence of a trademark from the following list does not constitute a waiver of intellectual property rights of MARND LTD of Scotland.
