The arm targets payload to weight ratio approaching 1:1, much higher than current common 1:4 and max 1:2.
Active (non-passive) safety system uses continuous object detection at each joint of the arm. This stops the robot, before it collides and is more practical than having to isolate robots in cages. It is also safer than passive safety on some robots which stops robots on collision.
Natural continuous (non-step) movement replaces stepped. This allows human counterparts to easily interpret movement trajectory, increasing collaboration efficiency.
M2 module has multiple integrated encoders that self-calibrates its movement. This is compared to industry complex units that need periodical maintenance to maintain performance.
M2 modules utilise an innovative design that allows them to be replaced with maximum ease. This could allow M2-based arms to maintain one another by replacing defective units with minimum downtime.
