Cobot arm

M2 modular cobot arm

Our new cobot arm is based on M2 robotic module and has an integrated active safety system. It is beneficial when safety, performance, and cost are top priorities.

High payload ratio
M2 cobot arm targets payload to weight ratio beyond 1:2, much higher than current common 1:4

Human Friendly Cobot

Active Safety
Active (non-passive) safety system uses continuous object detection at each joint of the arm. This stops the cobot arm, before it collides and is more practical than having to isolate robots in cages. It is also safer than passive safety on some robot arms which stops robots on collision.
Smooth Motion
Natural continuous (non-step) movement replaces stepped. This allows human counterparts to easily interpret movement trajectory, increasing collaboration efficiency.

Unmatched Reliability

Self-calibrating
M2 cobot arm module has multiple integrated encoders that self-calibrates its movement. This is compared to industry complex units that need periodical maintenance to maintain performance.
Self-maintained
M2 cobot arm modules utilise an innovative design that allows them to be replaced with maximum ease. This could allow M2-based robot arms to maintain one another by replacing defective units with minimum downtime.

M2 cobot arm module features an integrated IoT capability using USB-C interface, enabling custom or third-party arm attachments.
M2 cobot arm is to have a high payload-to-weight ratio and a predictable smooth (non-stepped) motion and feature a modular structure to facilitate quick and possibly automated maintenance. M2 modules can be connected to form a robotic arm of 6-axis or more.
